郭维（Guo Wei, Research Fellow），男，1986年9月出生，研究员，博士生导师。入选国家海外高层次（青年）人才、华中大“华中卓越学者”、东湖青年学者人才计划。

       英国曼彻斯特大学博士/博士后，中国机械工程学会高级会员，英国注册特许工程师(CEng)，英国焊接学会会员(MWeldI)。先后在英国焊接研究所（TWI）和英国原子能管理局(UKAEA)担任高级工程师，从事核电和航空制造领域的激光焊接、增材制造和无损检测等研究工作。兼任第一届“焊接杂志社”青年编委会委员，第一届中国材料研究学会增材制造材料专委会委员，《Photonics》 Special Issue "Laser Processing and Modification of Materials"客座编辑。主持/参与英国技术战略委员会(Innovate UK)，欧盟“地平线2020”(H2020)，英国工程和自然科学研究委员会（EPSRC），国际热核聚变实验堆（ITER）和 Rolls-Royce公司等资助的多项研究项目/课题。担任Materials & Design, Science and Technology of Welding and Joining, Journal of Materials Processing Technology等20多个国际学术期刊及会议审稿人。
